Our Process

How We Build It.

Same sequence every time. It is the reason the work is still flat years later.

Design & Size It

We lay out the pit and seating clearances on site so you can see the footprint before anything is built.

Foundation

Compacted base and footing sized for the structure. Gas lines coordinated and sleeved at this stage if you are going that route.

Build the Structure

Block core laid and reinforced, then faced with the paver, stone or veneer that matches your hardscape.

Cap & Finish

Cap stone set, burner and pan installed for gas units, and the surrounding patio tied in cleanly.

Gas or wood burning — which should I pick?

Gas if you want it lit in ten seconds with no smoke, cleanup or wood storage. Wood if the crackle and smell are the point. Gas costs more up front because of the line and burner.

How close can a fire pit be to the house?

Clearances vary by city and by gas versus wood. We size the location to code and to common sense — generally well clear of structures, eaves and overhanging trees.

Can you match the fire pit to my existing patio?

That is usually the goal. If we did not install the original patio we will source the closest available match and show it to you on site first.
